Reading: Tommy Pico // Stella Corso // L.A. Warman // Gabe Bump

NYC Poet Tommy Pico will be reading in support of his critically acclaimed recent collection IRL, available now from Birds, LLC. He will be joined with readings by Stella Corso, LA Warman & Gabe Bump. 

Tommy “Teebs” Pico is the author of IRL (Birds, LLC, 2016), Nature Poem (forthcoming 2017 from Tin House Books) and the zine series Hey, Teebs. He was a Queer/Art/Mentors inaugural fellow, 2013 Lambda Literary fellow in poetry, 2016 Tin House summer poetry scholar, and has poems in BOMB, Flavorwire, and the Offing. Originally from the Viejas Indian reservation of the Kumeyaay nation, he now lives in Brooklyn and with Morgan Parker co-curates the reading series Poets With Attitude (PWA).

Stella Corso is a writer and performer living in Western Mass. Her manuscript Cars, Stars & Planes was just chosen as the winner of the 2016 Rescue Press Black Box Poetry Prize. A graduate of the MFA Program for Poets & Writers at UMass-Amherst, she is a founding member of the Connecticut River Valley Poets Theater (CRVPT) and also performs with Xfinity Theater. Some of her recent work can be found in Fanzine; jubilat; Sprung Formal; and Forklift, Ohio. She currently teaches at Western New England University and Holyoke Community College.

LA Warman is a poet and performer based in Amherst, MA. She is the founder of GLASS PRESS, a publisher of art and poetry on flash drives. Warman has had work in shows at MOCA Cleveland, Time-Based Art Festival, General Public Collective, Flying Object, and Open Engagement. She has recent chapbooks from Inpatient Press and After Hours Ltd. LAWarman.com

Gabe Bump is from South Shore, Chicago. His nonfiction and fiction has previously appeared in SLAM Magazine, Cosmonauts Avenue, The Huffington Post, Springhouse Journal, Howler Magazine and Ren Quarterly. He won Summer Literary Seminar's 2015 Flash Fiction prize and the 2016 Deborah Slosberg Memorial Award in Fiction. He currently lives in Florence, Massachusetts. Gabe misses Chicago Public League Basketball.
