Click Invites You to Our Brown Bag Lunch Series

Clicksters enjoy gathering over lunch to network and share knowledge.  The events are BYOB (bring-your-own-brownbag :)), and start as fun, social activities. We often have a topic where, after pleasant networking is complete, we engage in a discussion about whatever our guest speaker/facilitator is interested in.

Our upcoming Brown Bag Lunches (noon-1pm in the front conference room):

  • 1/22 Workflows/Managing Projects
  • 2/5 Purely Social
  • 2/19 Mac Tips & Tricks

Non members are welcome BUT RSVP to paul.silva@clickworkspace.org as space is limited. Thanks!

Ned's Bio:

Ned has a background in sales, direct marketing and business development refined across a variety of industries and markets as well as being a serial entrepreneur. As a college student he developed a direct marketing venture creating demand generation products for investment managers and securities brokers. Persuaded by an investment banking client to join their organization, he then became a licensed broker and received broad exposure to a number of functional areas including sales and trading, equity research and new issue syndication. Pursuing further capital markets experience, he advanced in various positions at Morgan Gladstone, Sandhurst Securities and GK Scott Capital, all boutique sell side firms. In 1996 he founded DMRS, a software and magnetic media venture that became an exclusive service provider for the replication and duplication business divisions of HP, DEC and Data General. He then founded StorageLink.com, an online data storage marketing platform and began consulting with early stage technology ventures, assisting with customer development and capital acquisition strategies. Most recently he served as Managing Director at Synergy Partners in charge of Executive Recruiting for their Alternative Investments practice. He is currently exploring disruptive opportunities driven by the convergence of big data applications and talent management analytics in the Hedge Fund and Institutional Investor marketplace.

  2. You Are the CEO, Sales Department, Product Department, IT and Customer Support Team, Operations Team, and Janitor
  3. You Might Not Remember What "Free Time" Is Anymore
  4. The "Feast or Famine" Cycle Is a Vicious Rollercoaster
  5. You Might Envy Your Salaried Colleagues

We love entrepreneurship here at Click Workspace, but it is important for folks to know the pros and cons to the this career path.  Read the full article here.
